Deceptive Looks

i've come to realise that the meaner a person is.
the softer the person is in the inside.
it's as if the meaness is a form of protection,
against the outter world which may look sweet and kind,
but in reality gives us the sharpest and deepest pain.

- drama serials.
- animes.
- Kbox.
- online games.
What do these have in common?
they take my mind off reality.
they give me a path to escape.
they pull me out of a dark world, and they put me into somewhere safe.
where no one can hurt me.

a vaccum that yearns to be filled.
i know the right things.
they right ways.
i know u mean the best for me.
i really do.
i appreciate ur hard love.
but i dont want to be loved by you in that way.
i'd rather you just leave me alone.
cos i am not deserving.
and neither am i wanting.
perhaps what you say is true.
i am on the path to destruction.
self-destruction.
blame no one but me.
dont blame those i love, or those who love me.
i am to be blamed.

"Accursed Faustus, wretch, what hast thou done?
I do repent, and yet I do despair.
Hell strives with grace for conquest in my breast.
What shall I do to shun the snares of death?"
Act 5, Scene 1, Lines 68-71 - Dr. Faustus
