    What makes a person?

    Is it his past, present or future?
    what he has said or done?
    or what he failed to say n do?
    Will his past achievements make up for his future failures?
    i guess not.
    if we ran a good marathon but lagged behind at the end.
    we are still failures arent we?
    the sad sad reality of life.

    aside.
    im glad that i have a friend in Huiwen.
    its been like omg 13 yrs since we've known each other.
    we were never really close,
    yet we were never far away from each other as well.
    but we knew each other's ups n downs.
    n i will never forget her giving me free tuition for A maths during A levels! ><
    i'm very happy that she has found someone who loves her so much.
    and i'm glad that i have her as a partner in crime as we plan for our big day.
    helps me to relief some burden.
    and to take away some loneliness.
    =)

    I had a heartwrenching session today.
    as i spoke to her mother.
    i was almost crying together with her.
    thats the thing about my job.
    we get... emotionally .... affected.
    and then despite all the backlog, frustration, pain of having to clear paperwork.
    we find that little sense of fulfillment,
    when people see light in their lives because of our presence.
    we feel that our work is worth doing.
    and everything else seems.... easier.
